2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide our services:

• Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, event type, event date, guest count and the message you write in the quote request form; your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Information stored in your browser: your cookie consent choice and, if you opt in, anonymous preference flags. These are stored locally on your device.
• Technical information (only with consent): if you accept analytics cookies, we store aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics such as pages viewed and approximate region. We do not collect IP addresses for marketing purposes.

We do not collect payment card data through this website, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to quote requests and to plan and deliver the events you hire us for.
• To send our monthly planning-tips newsletter, only if you subscribed; every issue contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
• To remember your cookie preferences so we do not ask you again on every visit.
• To improve the website using aggregated statistics, only where you have consented.

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example email delivery), under contracts that require them to protect it, or where the law requires disclosure.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate data.
• Deletion: ask us to erase your data, subject to legal retention duties.
• Objection / restriction: ask us to limit or stop certain processing.
• Withdraw consent: unsubscribe from the newsletter or change cookie choices at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

To exercise any right, email northlight.events@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access limited to staff who need it, and contractually bound service providers. No method of transmission is 100% secure, so we also keep the data we collect to a minimum.

8. Links to other websites

Share buttons on this site open third-party social networks. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this website. We are not responsible for their practices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version, and material changes will be highlighted by the cookie banner on your next visit.
